Florist Information

  • Jan Kneer Nyhus I graduated with both your mom and dad and eventhough we were not close as school mates go I felt compelled to write to you. I knew your mom better than your dad and as I remember Kathy she was very quiet and shy and just a really sweet person. I would have to say your dad could best be described as "quirky." I don't mean that in a bad way by any means. I had no idea they married classmates.

I am so sorry for your losses. To lose one parent is bad enough but to have to go through the loss of both parents within a month of each other is devastating. I am a very strong Christian and I KNOW that God has a plan for each and every one of us. That plan is not always transparent to those of us that are left behind to deal with the loss. I guess we can only know that with our belief in Him we will be reunited with healed bodies and souls. Your parents are probably greeting each other with hugs and looking down on you, their beloved daughter. They say that when someone we are close to dies they become an angel and watch over us forever. I hope you can feel your parents love and through your memories that you built throughout your lifetime they will always and forever be in your heart.

I don't know if you will hear from other friends of your parents but if you do not, and if you need someone to talk with or need help with something, please feel free to contact me. I will try to help you in any way I can.

May God bless you and give you strength to get through these coming sad days.

  • Ardys Lundmark-Van Valkewnburg Jim, again have to tell you how sad I feel about your loss of Cathy. She was a cousin but we lived so far apart that we never were able to make close connections. Before Uncle Albert passed away my husband Paul and I stopped by to see you all. It was a very nice visit.
My Paul passed away last December. Now I live near my oldest daughter Sue & husband Phil Dudek in Palm Desert, CA. I see you have a granddaughter - how great. Can I have your daughter's address in New Mexico? Would like to extend my sympathies to her also. Cousin Ardys.

  • Jim Elbert To the Fitzl Family:

So very sorry to learn about Kathy's death. It is obvious that she was a smart and cultured lady. We will miss seeing her at the Chippewa Valley Astronomical Society.

To Jim Fitzl: Hope that you are doing well with your medical recovery. You are one of few people in that club that I really miss seeing.
