Betty Lou Hoff, 67, of Chippewa Falls, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019, in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Betty was born on December 13, 1951 in Vernon County, WI, to Robert Paul Widner and Bernice (Olson Widner) Schultz. Her adoptive parents were Vern and Dorothy Henaman.

Betty was married to James Hoff from 1972-1977. She graduated from Greenwood High School.

She worked as a head start teachers’ aide, housekeeper, tree farmer, and helped out at numerous farms. She was always lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and family. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and going to thrift sales. She loved to socialize with Wayne, beloved dog Babe and her friends at the Sportsman’s club in Hallie. Her family and friends will all miss her dearly. She will be remembered for her spunk and spit fire attitude and willingness to help anyone in need.

Betty is survived by her Fiancé, Wayne Insteness; children, Larry Henaman Los Angeles, CA, Kristine Froseth (Matthew) Eleva, WI and Heather Henning Chippewa Falls, WI; grandchildren, Tyler, Tia, Brady, Destiny, Emily, Rya, Marissa, and Samantha; great grandchildren, Cashton, Rhyett, Riley; siblings, Rachel (David) Rogstad, Jane (Dennis) Zielinski, Esther Lobacz Joyce (Ronald) Johnson, Janet (Steve) Haldeman, James Paul, Jeannie Henaman, Jon and Carla Henaman, Jean (Richard) Osweiler, Joanie (Patrick) Smith. Helen Clark, David (Diane) Schultz; many beloved nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Babe.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Richard Lobacz; nephews, David Henaman and Jonathan Johnson.

Betty did not want a funeral service but instead a celebration of life.

Her daughter’s will be hosting a celebration of Betty’s life at the American Brackett Legion. Join us anytime from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019.

Chippewa Valley Cremation Services—Celebration of Life Center in Altoona is serving the family.
