On January 29 2019, Naomi Allegra (Bischoff) Wulff passed away. 

Naomi was born in Augusta Wisconsin to Peter and Clara (Pehlke) Bischoff on August 30, 1925.  Shortly thereafter moved to the East Side Hill in Eau Claire Wisconsin where she grew up.  Naomi graduated from Eau Claire Senior High, and then attended and graduated from the Luther School of Nursing.  She became a member of the Army Cadet Nursing Corp. and spent time in Topeka Kansas and at Cook County Chicago during this period of her life.  Naomi spent the majority of her Nursing career working at Luther Hospital.

On September 21, 1946, Naomi was joined in marriage with Kermit Samuel Wulff.  This union produced 3 children, Terry (Kathy), Gary (Suzanne) and Sherry Ann.  Naomi had 4 grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren and 4 step great great grandchildren. 

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Naomi had many interest during her life. Her and her husband built and enjoyed many years at their cabin on Rock Dam Lake, where she enjoyed fishing, painting spinning, knitting and berry picking.  She enjoyed the arts and crafts, especially painting, preparing and spinning wool, weaving and dyeing fabrics.  Naomi’s God and Church were extremely important to her life.  She was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Eau Claire Wi., and was active in many aspects of the church. 

Naomi will be greatly missed by her family and friends and will remain in our hearts forever. 

A Celebration of her Life will occur on Friday, February 8, 2019, at 2 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Eau Claire WI.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church.

In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances in her honor to either St. John’s Church or to the Mayo Health System.

Chippewa Valley Cremation Service—Celebration of Life Center in Altoona is serving the family.

  • Janell Miersch (Nellie) I was so saddened to hear of Naomi passing. I cherish the memories she helped build during summers at Rock Dam. These past few years I have missed her Christmas notes. I will remember her fondly.

  • Lucas Koltis I will always have great memories of Naomi and spending time next door to her at Rock Dam. It was so fun to go to her house and I always remember her listening to the TV on a little radio. Rock Dam lost a treasure.
