Mary Boettcher, age 70, lost her long battle with cancer on October 2, 2018 surrounded by family at home.

Mary was born to William and Catherine Kraft on May 19, 1948. Mary married her high school sweetheart Byron Boettcher on December 30, 1967. Together the two of them raised three children.

Mary is survived by her husband, Byron Boettcher; daughter, Laurie Boettcher; son, Matthew (Konnie) Boettcher; brother, Richard (Nancy) Kraft; followed by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren as well as many more family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by both her parents, William and Catherine Kraft and daughter, Katie Boettcher.

The family wishes to express deep gratitude to Mayo Clinic Health Systems Cancer Center and Hospice Center for the great care she received during her illness.

A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 (1-5 p.m.) at Chippewa Valley Cremation Services Celebration of Life Center, 1717 Devney Drive, Altoona, WI.
