Wayne Richard “Dodo” Camren, 86, passed away peacefully at Cornell Area Care Center on September 25, 2018.

He was born on July 15th, 1932 in DeForest, WI, the son of Odell and Pearl (Olson) Camren. Wayne served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1949- 1952. On September 13, 2018, he and his wife, Roxanne (Fulton), celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Wayne retired from Pope and Talbot in Ladysmith, WI, in 1992 after working there for 17 years. He was a member of the Legion, York Kolar Post #316, Sheldon, WI.

Wayne was a proud father and grandfather. He was always sure to show off any pictures he carried in his wallet of all his grandchildren. He loved to watch football and was a dedicated Packer fan. Wayne also loved to do woodwork and was especially proud of the football helmets he would make for friends and family.

Wayne enjoyed fishing and catching his limit everyday and being in the company of his friends and family at TJ’s Timberline Resort.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Roxanne; sons, Jerome (Dawn) Camren, James (Debbie) Camren; daughters, Linda Moede, Peggy (Richard) Hughes; 13 grandchildren; and 29 ½ great-grandchildren; brother, LeRoy “Buzz” (Ruth) Camren; extended family and friends; and his beloved dog and best buddy, Max.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughters, Cheryl and Susan; his twin brother, Robert Camren; two additional brothers, Pete Camren and Harold Camren; sisters, Burdell Opsal, Dorothy Gullickson; and son-in-laws, William Cline and Russell Moede.

A Celebration of life is being planned at a later date.

Chippewa Valley Cremation Services of Altoona is serving the family.
