Sandra Jean Aldworth, 73, of Lake Hallie, passed away peacefully at Dove Healthcare-West in Eau Claire on Monday, May 28, 2018.

Sandra was born to the late Harold and Sylvia (Freng) Lee in Hobbs, NM on March 30, 1945. She graduated from Memorial High School in 1964. On August 13, 1966, Sandra married Virgil Allen Dehnke. Together, they had two sons, Allen and Jason.  Virgil passed away in August 20, 1977.  Sandra later remarried Craig B. Aldworth on April 27, 2005.

 

During her early years, Sandra stayed home to raise her two children.  Most recently, Sandra worked as a Home Health Care Aid for Lutheran Social Services until her retirement.

 

Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, biking, traveling and exploring many caves throughout the United States. In her spare time, Sandra also enjoyed reading books and coloring.

 

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Craig B Aldworth; sons, Allen (Leah) Dehnke of Mission Viejo, California, Jason (Karrie) Dehnke of Eau Claire; four grandchildren, Andrew (18), Brittney (17), Amanda (13), and Brady (12); sisters, Judy (Larry) Larson, Yvonne (Tim) Hedrington; and brother, Randy Lee; nieces and nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends, and dog, Digger. 

        

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Sylvia Lee; first husband, Virgil Allen Dehnke; significant others, Clifford Wibel and Clifford Nelson.

 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018, at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Eau Claire. Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Sunday at church and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday. Burial will be private at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.

 

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and CNAs at Sacred Heart Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital and Dove Healthcare-West Eau Claire.

 

Chippewa Valley Cremation Services of Altoona is serving the family.

Visitation

4-7 p.m. Sunday June 3 and from 10-11 a.m. Monday June 4, 2018, ALL AT THE LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD.

Service

11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2018, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Eau Claire.
