Heaven called home an angel here on earth, Rose Marie Bruner, 83, passed peacefully with family after a beautiful snow in Eau Claire on Saturday, February 3, 2018.

A caring wife, loving mother and grandmother, supporting sister and graceful presence to many. 

Rose enjoyed baking, collecting music boxes, sewing and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She blessed them all with an abundance of love and guidance and showed them how to live with laughter and love. She was especially known for her apple pies and oatmeal cookies.

Rose was born in Omaha, NE on April 18th, 1934.

She is survived by her children, Debra Hirdler, Fred Bruner Jr., Randolph Bruner, Rose Augustson, and Shawn Bruner; siblings, Robert “Bud” Clark, Michael “Mick” Clark,  Elizabeth “Betty” Beam, and Alfred Clark; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Bruner; son, Michael J. Bruner; brother, “Charley” Clark, sister, Marie DiPaula and parents, Howard B. Clark and Marie A. Kempnich.

There will be a Celebration of her life at 2527 Botsford Ave., Altoona WI on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 12 (noon) to 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Chippewa Valley Cremation Services, Altoona is serving the family.
