Condolences

  • Jon & Gloria Gottschalk From the time we met in 1981 we have considered Roger and Mya to be among our most cherished friends. It is rare to be partners in a banking venture as well as joint ownership of our Beech Baron and not have a disagreement from time to time. Roger has been like a second father to me. He taught me a great deal about business and true friendships. A true gentlemen like Roger does not come around very often.. GOD speed old friend. Blue skies and tailwinds!

  • Mary (Bartling) Lewis What adventures my mom and dad, Lenore and Fred, and even us kids had with Roger and Mia and of course Adrian, young Roger and Sarah. For all the flying and soaring, and tennis and eating and drinking and laughter and some tears, I am grateful! I am so grateful for such fond memories of friendship and fun, legal and maybe not such much. What a pationate and brilliant man and family. I am thankful for that. I will let mom know of Roger’s passing. Dad has been gone 10 years. Likely something wild is going on in heaven!! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  • Ken Koopmann Roger was one of the most interesting and accomplished people that I have had the privilege of knowing and working with over the past 40+ years. He knew alot about everything, most of all finance and banking. He was kind and generous enough to find time to pass much of his knowledge onto me. Among his many skills were sports, flying and gliding, with a special interest in all types of vehicles. I had many lunches and dinners with Roger over the years, mainly during our banking careers. He never failed to amaze me with his zest for living and his incredible interest in a vast array of activities.

I'd like to pass along our condolences to Roger's family; he will truly be missed by anyone who had the good fortune to cross paths with him.
